Camp AWARA is found at the peak of 7500 feet from water level in Dhanaulti, between Mussoorie Chamba roads under Tehri Garhwal district. many of us ask us hey Awara camp. What the funny name is this? Therefore, the story behind this funny name naturally is that once we existed to explore a replacement destination for our camp, we were just moving from one place to another in Uttarakhand, particularly in Garhwal region like vagabond although we were just doing our work nothing else however we did not getting a place up to the mark.
Our young teams were homeless during the search of our camp site and when we finally reached on this spot in Dhanaulti, Then we surrendered our self to the magnetism of nature at this place and suddenly we named it Camp (AWARA)
It has spreading in the area of more than 1.25 hectare in stare shape as usual at mountains, surrounded by green trees, gives scenic view of river in the valley and the glaciers of bandarpoonch, and Gangotri of great Himalayas. We are having three different kinds of tents such as 10 deluxe Swiss tents with attached bathroom followed by all basic amenities, 5 doom tents and 5 Camping tents with common toilets built on solid platform.
