Lohaghat

Lohaghat is a small town located in Champawat district of Uttarakhand state. This city falls in Kumaon area. Lohaghat is situated at an elevation of 1755 meters above sea level, which is about 14 kilometers from Champawat city. This ancient city is a historical and mythological place, where tourists will be see many ancient temples. Lohaghat is also known for its beautiful and ancient temples. Due to snowfall on the surrounding hills in the winter season, the temperature of here goes down very much. Due to the cold weather of winter, woollen clothing is required here. Due to heavy rains in the rainy season, it is a bit difficult to travel of here because of heavy rains threatening landslides. The temperature of here between from 3°C to 10°C in the winter season and the temperature in the summer season is between 15°C to 25°C.
