Pindari Glacier is a beautiful snowy peak located in Kumaon area. The Pindari Glacier is situated at an elevation of 3660 meters above sea level. Journey of the Pindari Glacier starts with Bageshwar. Pindari Glacier Trek Kumaon is one of the most popular treks in the Himalayan region. It is a bit difficult to track here, because to trek, has to go through dense forest, many rocks and rugged routes. This is an ideal place for trekking lovers, which is no less than heaven. Between the early months of summer and winter, is the best time to travel here. While doing trek, On the route, beautiful grasslands, flowing water streams and the lush green forests are seen. Trekers go from Bageshwar to Saung village through the road, after which the trek starts. On the route, is accessed through such places Loharkhet, Dhakuri, Khati, Dwali and Phukria. From Pindari Glacier, a river called Pindari comes out, which later meet to the holy Alaknanda river in Karnaprayag.

The best time to visit Pindari Glacier is between the months of September to November and March to May. Travelling here in these months is the best and enjoyable. During the winter season, the weather of here is cold. Due to snowfall on the surrounding hills in the winter season, the temperature of here goes down very much. Due to heavy rains in the rainy season, it is a bit difficult to travel of here because of heavy rains threatening landslides.
