The Butterfly Research Centre is located in Bhimtal of Nainital district. This butterfly research center is on a hill near Bhimtal Lake. This Butterfly Research Center is a collection of the fourth largest butterfly in India. This collection of butterflies has been kept in the colonial bungalow of Jones Estate. There are about 245 species of butterflies. There are collections of incredible forms of butterflies, kites, beetles, spiders and many other types of insects are present in this museum.
