Gabbar Singh Negi Memorial is located in Chamba of Uttarakhand state. This memorial was built in honour of freedom fighter Gabbar Singh Negi. Gabbar Singh Negi, in the year 1913, served as the Rifleman in the Garhwal Rifles. During World War first, Gabbar Singh Negi along with his battalion fought a war against Germany and won that war. For his bravery, he was honoured the award like Posthumous and Victory Cross. On 21st April every year, on this memorial is paid tribute to this great warrior of the Garhwal Regiment. During the trip to Chamba, tourists visit this memorial. This memorial is popular in Chamba.
