Berinag is a small village located in Chaukori of Uttarakhand state. It is about 12 km from the Chaukori. Berinag is located at an altitude of 1850 meters and at an altitude of 6150 feet above sea level. Berinag was first known as named of Bedinag. Berinag presents a panoramic view of high peaks such as Panchchuli and Nanda Devi. From here the view of the vast snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas is also seen. This area was also famous for tea estates during the British rule. The outer area of Berinag is surrounded by dense forests with lots of vegetation. This place is rich for various types of flora and fauna.
