Chineshwar Waterfall is a natural waterfall located in Garaun village of Chaukori of Uttarakhand state. This waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls of the Kumaon area. This waterfall is about 161 feet high. This beautiful natural waterfall is surrounded by dense forests of pine and oak. It is said by locals that there is a temple of Lord Shiva hidden behind the waterfall, where to reach, the water flow of the waterfall has to be crossed, which is extremely difficult. Chineshwar Waterfall is a major centre of attraction for tourists.

Due to snowfall on the surrounding hills in the winter season, the temperature of here goes down very much. Due to heavy rains in the rainy season, it is a bit difficult to travel of here because of heavy rains threatening landslides.
