Sitabani Forest Reserve is a part of the Corbett National Park located in Corbett. The main gate of the Sitabani Forest Reserve is located in Bhandarpani village, which is about 18 km from Ramnagar Barrage Gate. The dense forest of Sitabani forest reserve Is the place of residence to various wildlife such as tigers, leopards, elephants, deer, wild boar. About 35 Royal Bengal Tigers are present in the Sitabani forest reserve. This forest reserve is naturally surrounded by the powerful Himalayan foothills. Sitabani forest reserve is open every year for Safari tourism. The Sitabani Forest Department provides permits for Safari in this zone. There is also a famous popular temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in the Sitabani forest zone. There are also found many vibrant colourful bird species along with animals in the Sitabani forest reserve.
