Chandrabani Temple is a popular temple located in Dehradun of Uttarakhand state. This temple is situated on Dehradun-Delhi road, about 7 km from Dehradun. Chandrabani temple is dedicated to goddess Chandrabani among the Shiwalik hills. Due to Gautam Kund in the temple premises, there is the religious significance of the Chandrabani temple. Devotees take holy bath in this natural kund during the journey of the temple. According to mythology, it is believed that there was residence place of Maharishi Gautam and his daughter Ajani in the Chandrabani area. It is also believed by the people that Chandrabani is the place where the Goddess 'Ganga' was manifested, due to which it is also known as named of Gautam Kund.
