Narayan Ashram is a popular religious place located near Dharchula of Pithoragarh District. This Ashram is situated about 44 km away from Dharchula. Narayan Ashram is situated in an area called Sosa at an altitude of about 2735 feet above sea level. This ashram is also locally called "Bangba" or "Chaudas". This Ashram was established in the year 1936 by a saint and social activist "Narayan Swami". Land for Narayan Ashram, the Late Kushal Singh Hanyaki of "Sosa" had donated to Swami Ji. There is a temple inside the main building of Narayan Ashram. Narayan Ashram is surrounded by dense green trees all around at the top of the hill. This ashram is a spiritual social education centre, which provides training to local youth. There is also a library and meditation room in this ashram.
