Archaeological Museum is a famous museum located in Jageshwar of Almora district. This museum is one of the 45 archaeological museums established by India's Archaeological Survey. This museum was started in the year 1995, which was turned into a historical museum in the year 2000. This museum contains many stone statues related to 9th - 14th century AD. This archaeological museum has an excellent collection of ancient carved statues of the gods. This museum includes rare sculptures of the Navagrahas. 60 artefacts have been performed in the museum recovered from the temples and nearby Jangeshwar group. This museum remains open from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, there is no entry fee. Archaeological Museum is one of the main attraction centres of Jageshwar.
