Dandeshwar Temple is a famous temple located in Jageshwar of Almora district. This holy temple is known for its various styles. This temple has been protected by the Archaeological Survey of India from the 13th century. Dandeshwar Temple is located slightly above the Jangeshwar temple complex. This temple is surrounded by dense forests of deodar. It is believed that Lord Shiva lives in this temple with his Gan, which protects this area. Within the temple is the natural Shivling.
