Chandika Devi Temple is a famous temple situated in Simli near Karnaprayag in Chamoli district. This temple is dedicated to goddess Kali. This temple is also called Raj Rajeshwari Chandika Devi Temple. It is an ancient temple, where hundreds of devotees come to demand the darshan of the Goddess and the boon of prosperity. In the temple, Bhajan Sandhya is organized. The priest of this temple is the Gairola Pandit. Earlier in this temple, goats and buffaloes were sacrificed, but now the only coconut is offered.
