Sidhbali Temple is a famous temple located in Kotdwar of district Pauri Garhwal. This temple is built on a hill about 40 meters high on the banks of the river Khoah. This temple is dedicated to Ram devotee Hanuman Ji. According to the assumptions, Guru Gorakhnath and his disciples here the penance for a long time, which was became known as 'Siddh'. According to historians, In the 14th century, Saint Sidhva had done penance here, whose is worshipped as Siddh are here. Regarding the establishment of this temple, it is said that after performing penance at this place, Siddha Baba was received the Siddhi from Hanuman ji. Siddh Baba built a huge stone statue of Bajrangbali here. After this the name of this place has become known as Sidhbali. Regarding the temple, it is believed that Hanuman ji fulfills all the desires here. On completion of the wish, devotees organize Bhandara in the temple premises.
