Christ Church is a famous ancient church located in Mussoorie of Dehradun district. This church is situated near the Kasmanda Palace. This church was constructed in the year 1836, which was made by the British. It is considered the oldest church, situated in the Himalayan series. In the year 1906, the Princess of Wales came to this church, they planted a deodar tree in the garden outside the church, which is still present here. This church is built in Gothic architectural style. The glass windows of the church have been depicted in the life of Jesus Christ. Inside this church, there is a high altar, which also depicts hanging upon the cross of Jesus Christ. The inner part of this church is very beautifully made. William Hill Organ, which is about a hundred years old, is present in this church. During the journey to Mussoorie, tourists go to this Christ Church.
