Lakhamandal Temple is an ancient temple located in Jaunsar-Bawar area of Vikasnagar. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. This temple is about 1372 meters above sea level. This temple is built in the North Indian architecture style. Inside the temple, the footprints of Goddess Parvati can be seen on a rock. Inside the temple, the Lord Kartikeya, Lord Ganesha, Lord Vishnu and Hanuman Ji are established of the statues. The dozens mythological Shivalay located in the temple premises, historical and ancient sculptures attract tourists. This temple has a historical significance and it is believed that the temple was constructed by Yudhishtir. This is the place where Duryodhana had created "Lakshagrah" to kill the Pandavas, but fortunately, the Pandavas were rescued by the god with Shakti. Pandav ran through a cave, the cave ends at a distance of 2 km from Lakhamandal temple. The present temple was constructed in the 8th century with a mythological association with many stone images. Two sculptures in the temple premises, which are 6 feet long, have been established near the temple, which is known as the gatekeeper of the temple. It is believed that whatever devotees pray to Mahashivaratri with a true heart, Lord Shiva fulfils her desire.
